Giving credence to false ways
Disclaimer: To understand the Lord's spiritual truth, you must be born from above by his Holy Spirit. Be sure you've submitted yourself to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and receive this gift from the Lord, lest you add knowledge with no power and are held eternally accountable.
Good evening! こんにちは! これはなんですか。(Good evening! What is this?) This is my blog where I share about my day, what I'm doing, how the Lord is growing me, and what new things I'm learning. Today, I worked both of my jobs. They were busy at both of them, which made time go by quick! I'm now at my park spot for the night, and I just had some chips with salsa. These chips I got from the discount store are おいしい(delicious) and すごい(awesome)! They're designed to be extra sturdy, so they're perfect for dipping things. I recommend!

There's a real danger giving any sort of credence to false ways. Instead of marking, avoiding, shunning, turning away from, there's a platform given to false ideas that raise them up to a place they shouldn't be. This is why intellectual debates that professing Christians have, make no sense. Why would a platform be given to false ways? This religion denies Christ as God, toss it out. This person believes the covering of a cloth veil in 1 Corinthians 11 for women to cover their glory/head is just their natural hair, mark and avoid if they don't repent. This person thinks a rapture will happen before the tribulation, shun, turn away from him. These commands in scripture to avoid foolish conversations, questions, and false ways that exalt themselves against sound doctrine is for my safety, and to the saving of lost souls. As I talked about in my last post there absolutely has to be a delineation between light and dark, that's God's order. God always wins in the debate. False ways don't deserve any equal footing with the truth. This includes imaginations that spring from my own mind.
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” (2 Corinthians 10:5, KJV)
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” (2 Timothy 2:15-16, KJV)
“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.” (Romans 16:17, KJV)
“And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.” (2 Thessalonians 3:14, KJV)
“A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.” (Titus 3:10-11, KJV)
“Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.” (2 Thessalonians 3:6, KJV)
“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2 Timothy 3:5, KJV)
“But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.” (2 Timothy 2:23, KJV)
“Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” (1 Timothy 6:5, KJV)
“If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” (2 John 1:10-11, KJV)
“If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.” (1 Corinthians 16:22, KJV)
Who has the authority to determine what the truth is? Is it not God who created all things? Without truth, we wouldn't be able to perceive nor understand our very lives, from eating, to walking, to talking, there are frameworks which have been established by our Creator. Who created sound? Who created light? Who created that which is not seen? Yet man, taking the mind that God has given, taking the time which God has given, taking the breath which God has given, taking the senses which God has given, sustained by the food which God has given, walking in a 3-dimensional world which God has given, says, "Ah, I don't need God, I have my own truth." One truth is given, just like man has two arms, yet most of the world says, "my way is better." Worse yet, instead of being thankful for all that life and ability God has given, mankind chooses to worship his own imaginations. The pride of man in God's creation.
“Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” (Romans 1:25, KJV)
“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” (1 John 5:19, KJV)
I found something cool in the Japanese language. If the context is clear enough, you can omit chunks of sentences to make them more concise. Like this: ぼくのなまえはColinです (My name is Colin.) vs. Colinです (My name is Colin. Perhaps I'm pointing to myself.) Language involves context, body language, and tone, along with all the vocabulary and grammar!
I listened to an audio done by a sister today about flattery. Some verses that came to mind.
“He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.” (Proverbs 27:14, KJV)
“To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.” (Proverbs 28:21, KJV)
“These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.” (Jude 1:16, KJV)
While I had many topics in my notes, I wanted to share these as I think they're important. Don't give any standing to false ways. Don't give any time to that which is proven to be a lie. Keep that salt pure saints! Don't lose your savour. I hope you have a goodnight in the Lord.
“And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.” (Psalms 39:7, KJV)
